Poetry Boom! by Zoom, with Sharon Black

Join Pindrop Press editor Sharon Black for a 5-day series of online workshops that will get you writing new poems using interesting and surprising prompts.
The course will include a drop-in social from 17-18h on Friday 24th, an opportunity to say hi and have a chat. Bring a drink if you like, let's get to know each other.
Saturday 23rd - Wednesday 27th will involve 3 hours of daily workshop time:
9h -11h UK time will consist of writing prompts and shared writing time and end with an optional prompt to work on during the day. Afternoon sessions
17h - 18h UK time will be for feedback: depending on the number of participants, we will either focus on short pieces of work from everyone, or work on a rota basis.
The maximum number of participants is 12.

Tutor
Sharon Black is from Glasgow and lives in the Cevennes mountains of France. She is the aithor of four full poetry collections, the latest being The Last Woman Born on the Island (Vagabond Voices, 2022) and The Red House (Drunk Muse, 2022), as well as a pamphlet, Rib (Wayleave Press, 2021). Since 2016 she has been editor and publisher of Pindrop Press.
